Just a little slip, at times a major fall

Have you ever made a mistake that you decided to just ignore. Ignore in the sense that you fail to acknowledge it even though everyday you are reminded of it πŸ˜–,  you decide to move on without actually dealing with it and then after a long time of self denial you finally face it and correct it 😧😧 .

Nothing can actually be harder than correcting a mistake only you know to be one. A mistake that even people applaud you for, making it easier to just go with the flow.
I think I've found myself in this type of situation before and I can't help but wonder if I'm the only one 'amazing' enough to do such a thing.
It's amazing though  how much God cares about us that even though we put ourselves in that situation he is very ready to help us out all by himself without even rubbing it in our faces 😎😎. But trust me, the devil will have nothing of that. He is so going to rub it in your face like what else can he even do when God has decided to help you. Pitiful!

It is important to note you are not your mistakes though. That you made a mistake doesn't define who you are, if anything, it makes you wiser and smarter. You know what you don't want or need at least. I like the saying of Thomas Edison that though he failed 1000 times, he learnt 1000 ways not to make a light bulb.
Second, In Christ, grace speaks for you and so you don't have to pay the price. Jesus paid it all πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ.
My conclusion,  I would try my best to listen to the inward witness better so I can avoid all those mistakes, yet if I stumble, I would listen to him yet again because only him can get me out.
I love that I'm not helpless, that I have the one who created the universe on my side and he loves to love me .
I like that when I fall, there is that hand waiting to help me up every single time because he was there to help me not fall in the first place.
I love that God Almighty has called me his own and I don't even want to do anything about it but live like his own.
You see, your mistakes are part of the scars that make you look beautifully human wrapped by Gods grace. The only reason you would at times be able to justify your humanity because indeed you are a totally new creature in Christ.

My point is this, though I make mistakes, they don't define me and I would always let God's love bring me out and because I'm certain all things work together for my good, I don't even let the devil rub it in my face.

Look back at those mistakes and smile because something beautiful has come out of it!

Let's not forget to write those things you want to say in the comment box. Thanks for reading and even if I'm probably the last person to wish you this 😎😎

Happy New year !!

It's 2021! He came through πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ

It's been about 3 years since I last published a post here, well apart from the one I published a few minutes ago πŸ˜‚ "No strings attached". I found it in my drafts this morning, I read it and wondered why I didn't publish it so I pressed the button.  Anyways, welcome to 2021!  As we approach the second half of the year, I had a strong desire to write here again and then discuss on my Podcast. Yes I have a podcast and it's called "TruthwithTimi". Do well to check it out  here ..... The thought that however  brought me here this cold Saturday morning  is how intentional God is about us. We simply  just need to look to find him. Let me explain with a recent experience.  This week was a very overwhelming one for me. For some reasons I kept getting anxious about a number of things and it always ends with me overthinking. It got so bad one night and I felt like running away. (Don't ask me where because I have no idea myself πŸ˜‚.)  I  knew from the b...

The Lover

I finally let go and received this love that has been beckoning to me for so long. The thing is I have always been a romantic and I love gifts, acts of service, and quality time. Just surprise me and then be around. I have also been looking to God for my man who is going to show me all this romance while I do the same. I believe I'm not the selfish kind honestly (especially when it comes to love, I'm ready to give even more than I receive). I decided that I should just keep giving in every way I can so that the man will notice and be ready to give also. I started giving so I can receive and this drained me because  I wasn't receiving like I wanted to (the issue here is giving so I can be noticed and be given back. Imagine! πŸ˜’) But, you know how God is right? Perfect and amazing. He had been giving but I had been too fixed on how I wanted to receive that I did not acknowledge his love and romance.  I finally had a wake-up call yesterday. God has been right by my ...
